We're launching our first ever Family Favorites Awards - the 2023 Family Favorite Awards. Nominate the businesses and places your family loves most in our community: your favorite small businesses, service providers, places to play, and more!
Macaroni KID's Family Favorite Awards recognize the most beloved local businesses for kids and families in Allen, Wylie, Murphy, Lucas, and Parker. We want your family to help us choose the best of the best!
So... who do parents turn to when they want to find the best places to go or the best doctors or the best story times? Other parents! We want YOU to nominate the businesses that your family loves in OUR community!
How Do You Get Started?
From now through Janurary 31st at 11:59 pm, simply show the love by nominating your favorite Allen/Wylie/Murphy area businesses! Nominate as many businesses as you would like. This is your chance to support all of those awesome, local businesses you go to all the time and that other parents might not know about. To keep it fair, only one submission per email address please; you must be a subscriber to the newsletter to nominate. It's free to subscribe! You can subscribe here.

What's In It For The Businesses?
After the nominating round, Macaroni KID subscribers will then be voting for the winners. We will announce the finalists and winners of each category in upcoming newsletters. The winning business in each category will receive free premium placement in our Business Directory for yearlong recognition, a 2023 Macaroni KID Family Favorite Awards certificate, a window cling to display at their place of business, plus the honor of knowing that local Allen/Wylie/Murphy families think they are the best!
The local business with the highest number of votes overall will win a 3-month advertising package with Macaroni KID Allen!

The Family Favorite Awards SCHEDULE
- Nominations are open from January 12th through January 29th, 2023.
- Starting February 2nd, you can vote for the businesses that received the most nominations. Only the top 3 businesses will be selected for the voting round.
- Voting will close on February 12th, 2023.
- Winners will be announced on February 16th, 2023.

RULES
- Submit only one nomination ballot per email address; please nominate businesses in at least five categories.
- To nominate a business, you must be a Macaroni KID Allen email subscriber, to sign up click here.
- Votes with fake email addresses will not count and may disqualify the nominee from winning. It is against policy to place a vote using any email other than your own.
- Only the top 3 nominations in each category will be selected for voting.
- Macaroni KID families will then vote on their favorites and one winner from each category will be selected.
- Macaroni KID confirms AND validates each email to ensure authenticity. We reserve the right to eliminate votes that are deemed to be invalid or have interfered with the fair administration of this contest.
This gift card contest will run from January 12th through January 29th, 2023 11:59 pm CST. One winner will be selected from all eligible entries on January 31st, 2023. The winner will be notified by email and will have 48 hours to claim the prize. If the prize is not claimed within 48 hours, an alternate winner will be chosen. You MUST be a subscriber to Macaroni KID Allen and 18 or older to enter. If you are not a subscriber and enter the contest, you will be automatically subscribed. This is a Macaroni KID contest taking place on the Macaroni KID Allen website and newsletter.
