Carey Lynn gave me some samples for my children to try out her Easter Basket gift ideas and my children LOVED them! Using the UV printer on acrylic, she designed these amazing eggs that my children loved coloring and displaying. The UV printer prints a raised image allowing for the ink to stay within the lines, helping my 3 year old feel so accomplished with her beautiful art. Then the acrylic allows the light to shine through, creating a stained glass effect that my children marveled at. My 9 year old son immediately hung it in his room as a display.
But wait, there's more. Carey Lynn also designed these perfect bracelet makers. I was hesitant that they were complicated for a 5 and 9 year old, but the way she designed them made it easy for them to follow along. Using your basic Embroidery floss and her creative design, my son made a bracelet and my daughter made an anklet very quickly. No fuss, just simple counting to 3.
Plus, she provided adorable tiny charms that fit perfectly. These charms are again made with the UV printer on acrylic and they are amazingly detailed and precise. You can see the eyes and colors do not blend at all and give a really professional feel to the overall creation. After we each made one, my children asked when they could make some more for their friends. These would make perfect Easter Basket gifts for any school aged child or teen.
